I require a lot of protein and sometimes don't have the time or energy to make something. These bars are a quick way to fit in more protein and keep going. I like the chocolate coating which is just sweet enough without being icky sweet.

The new bars are nothing like the original bars. I don't know why companies always have to ruin a good thing. I will not purchase anymore bars from Metagenics now. When the OG Caramel Sea Salt bars were removed for a time, I tried switching to the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ultra Energy bars - they were horrible! So I stopped buying those as well. I have now found a better replacement for these bars elsewhere. So sad Metagenics - you are losing out on money from your customers by making a poor product decision.

I use to order these and they did not have the chocolate cover that they do now. Also, the product label has same old picture with no hint of chocolate.
I thought I was buying the older brand.
The taste is good IF you like and wanted chocolate!

These new bars are tasteless! Bring back the old bars!! I can't understand why they reformulated them. Miss the chocolate chip, bring them back!
